This RV resort is undoubtedly one of our favorites, and we've spent numerous months here over several visits. It's also a place we consider home, having lived in Victoria for many years with our family and friends nearby and have enjoyed some great camp outs and dinners overlooking the marina.
We can't praise Pedder Bay enough. Staying here is a delight, offering proximity to the city while providing a wilderness experience surrounded by forests and the Pacific Ocean. The area is rich with marine life and wildlife.

The staff are exceptional. There's an onsite cafe open every day, where you can enjoy a light bite or drink on the patio overlooking the marina. They offer kayak and boat rentals, and private fishing charters are available for full or half-day excursions.
The resort provides a variety of RV sites, including oceanfront and forest views, and you can also rent bunkies or stay in the tent sites. They have showers, washrooms and laundry facilities. If you manage to get a spot along the water you can expect some pretty spectacular sunrises.

The shop/café is stocked with merchandise, candy, ice cream, a limited selection of alcohol, fishing gear, and locally made jellies and products. The Galloping Goose trail, a fantastic 55 km biking route from Victoria to Sooke, is nearby and easily accessible on foot. Matheson Lake and its trail are also within walking distance.
A few kilometers away from Pedder Bay is Royal Bay, you'll discover groceries, Starbucks, takeout options, a pharmacy, and many other parks and beaches in the vicinity. If you don't want to go far for a bite, just down the road is My-Chosen Cafe, which has awesome food and is always busy with locals. Or order pizza from My-Chosen Pizza... they even deliver to the resort!
Pedder Bay will now always be our home away from home, and we are always thrilled to come back for a visit.
