Yosemite National Park
It was a 3-hour drive away from Valley Springs where we stayed at Monument Campground, but it was so worth the day trip. The scenic drive there was amazing, and Yosemite is a must-see. The bonus of visiting Yosemite in the fall, aside from the brilliant colors of fall, is that no reservation was needed, there were no crowds, and we found parking with no problem right beside the visitor center. Going during peak times/season will require you to book a reservation in advance. I wouldn't advise taking any large RV, as the road in Yosemite Park has a couple of tunnels that are low and narrow, around 9-10 feet high. I would recommend visiting the website first to learn more about prices/rules, etc. https://www.nps.gov/yose/index.htm
Yosemite was beautiful and you should definately put it on your list of places to visit.
