Elbows UP-date!

In spring, we returned home to the Kootenays, a perfect time to enjoy spending all summer on the lake. It's been wonderful to be home and settle down in one place for a while, getting back to gardening, completing some projects, enjoying some kayaking, hot springs, warm summer evenings on the patio and spending time with family and friends.

Today, we started planning and booking our next adventure. We had an amazing time our first year as retired snowbirds exploring the USA last winter. Our retirement plan was to head south every winter. At this time we are willing to forgo chasing the sun. We value our American neighbors, and we are sad to have to change our plans and not visit this year. We cherished our time in the places we visited as well as the people we met and made friends with along the way. The climate of politics in the USA is off-putting.

This winter, we will explore and enjoy beautiful CANADA!

We will be sharing our adventures and blogging about the places we stay and visit, promoting our country and businesses all while putting Canada first!

Zip lining, BC wineries and breweries, mountains, snowshoeing, hot air balloons, forest hikes, beautiful ocean shorelines, more RV park reviews, and a host of activities and fun are on the roster, so stay tuned... September we start another RV'ing season on the road of adventure showcasing parts of this beautiful country we call HOME!!!
