A fall getaway, we road-tripped through parts of BC and Alberta. Our first stop was Golden, BC. We stayed at Thousand Peaks Resort, Golden, BC. This park appears to be fairly new and is nicely set up with gravel roads, bathrooms/showers, and sites. We stayed in a 50-amp full hook-up pull-through site. We liked it and would stay again.
During the road trip to Golden from home, we stopped at the Rogers Pass Centre.

After our arrival in Golden, we took the time to visit Whitetooth Brewing for a flight of beer and some supper. Although they do not have food service, they do have several restaurants close by that they recommend for delivery right to your table.
During our trip planning, we had wanted to visit the Golden Skybridge, Canada's Highest Suspension Bridge. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that it was a short walk through the RV Resort to the gates of the Skybridge. The park has lots to do for all the various thrill seekers out there. We walked all the paths, including the two suspension bridges. There is lots of history to read about on the information plaques they have along the paths. We also took a rip on the zipline. We chose not to ride the Railrider Mountain Coaster or the Giant Canyon Swing. There is also a climbing wall, axe throwing, and the Canyon Edge Challenge course.
We enjoy visiting places that feature wildlife to learn about. We found the Northern Lights Wildlife Wolf Centre not far from where we were. This is a wolf education centre. They have six wolves housed there. We took part in the interpretive tour where one of the presenters talks about the wolves and their importance to the ecosystem. Cat enjoyed photographing the wolves and I enjoyed listening to the presentation. This is a great place to visit. The big thing here is it is cash only as there is no cell service. https://northernlightswildlife.com/
